Efficient Oil Production with Less Impact on the Environment
Oil fields in the Sunniland Trend contain very low amounts of gas...much like a flat soda...so Collier Resources and its partners use high-capacity electric submersible pumps, inserted deep in the well, to extract and lift the oil to the surface. These pumps also allow us to more efficiently produce the oil so we can restore the well site sooner.

Transportation
Produced oil is collected and transported to a centralized processing area through small elevated pipelines located on the shoulder of connecting access roads.

The results of production – oil, gas and water – are then separated from each other. Gas is compressed and used as fuel on-site. Water is cleaned and injected through a special well into an EPA-approved disposal formation 3,000 feet below the surface. Oil is then moved by pipeline to a tanker-truck loading facility. South Florida oil is delivered to Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale for sea transport to Gulf Coast refineries.

Of Note...
Because oil fields in the Sunniland Trend contain very low amounts of gas, pumps placed inside the well are required to lift oil to the surface. This absence of a natural flow makes a spill improbable; if the well head on an established well were to be knocked over, the oil would likely drop several thousand feet below the surface.
